Joint Message to Aim for the Abolishment of the Death Penalty

On the occasion of the International Symposium: "Prospect of the Future of Criminal Justice - Can criminal justice systems coexist with death penalty and attacks on lawyers?”, which was held on March 13, 2021, the Japan Federation of Bar Associations (JFBA), the International Association of Lawyers (UIA), and the Delegation of the European Union to Japan issued a “Joint Message to Aim for the Abolishment of the Death Penalty in All Countries and Regions of the World”.
