UIA Commission of the Year Award

This year, the UIA shall deliver for the second time in its history the 2014 UIA Commission of the Year Award that was launched last year. This Award is delivered annually to the UIA Commission that distinguishes itself for the excellent work performed during the past year (from the last congress to the closing of the subsequent one).

The Award assessment process is based on:

(i) self-assessment made by each Commission President that replies to the Questionnaire on its activity,

(ii) review of that Questionnaire by UIA Centre and the Director of Commissions of the UIA, 

(iii) assessment of all Commissions working sessions during each congress made by the UIA Commissions team (Director and two Co-Directors).

The Award “trophy” shall be delivered at the closing ceremony of the Florence Congress.
